The fire protection accreditation scheme ("FPAS") is an industry scheme operated by Fire Protection Association Australia ("FPA Australia") that promotes and accredits companies and individuals who work in the fire protection industry. The scheme provides a pathway for continuing professional development in a range of disciplines, accreditation and career pathway for people working in the fire protection industry in Australia. The scheme offers the following classes of accreditation; Inspect and Test, Fire Systems Design ("FSD"), Fire Systems Certification ("FSC"), Fire Safety Assessment ("FSA").
