According to Honeywell the parent company of Notifier in Australia and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) the Notifier AFP-2800 and AFP-2802 have been discontinued as of August 12, 2021.
Honeywell issued the following Product Bulletin PB21-008 that stated;
"With advancements in technology, changes in standards and to maintain best in class product performance and effective support, it sometimes becomes necessary to discontinue and replace products. This bulletin is to announce that Notifier AFP-2800 and AFP-2802 will be discontinued as of immediately."
This also affects availability of a significant number of related spare parts of these systems.
For critical systems building owners and managers who have been affected by these changes should commence steps to identify and source spare parts in order to maximise the reliability of these systems in the event of a component or catastrophic failure.
