Job Hazard Analysis ("JHA")

Job Hazard Analysis ("JHA")

A Job Hazard Analysis ("JHA"), also known as a Job Safety Analysis ("JSA") is a systematic methodology to identify hazards and assess the risks associated with completing job specific tasks. A job hazard analysis must be completed prior to undertaking any task or activity in order to eliminate or reduce the risk of injury to workers. Where a hazard or high risk activity is identified, workers are required to prepare a Safe Work Method Statement ("SWMS").
