A Fire Engineering Brief is a document that provides a broad in principle agreement of all relevant stakeholders about the design principles for a Performance Solution of a building with a fire safety perspective. This document is used by building designers and engineers throughout the design, construction and ongoing maintenance of the building and forms the basis of a Fire Engineering Report ("FER").
