Systems Interface

Australian Standard AS851:2012 defines a Systems Interface as a connection between two or more systems forming part of the approved design. A systems interface should also be documented in the form of a systems interface matrix, line diagram and commissioning documentation showing the connection between each interfaced system that forms part of the approved design.
