System Interface Test ("SIT")

A System Interface Test (SIT), also known as a Full Function Fire Test (FFFT), as defined in the Australian Standard AS 1851:2012, refers to a comprehensive end-to-end test designed to ensure that each component of the essential fire safety systems and equipment in a building operate correctly in accordance with the systems interface matrix and the approved design.
