Smoke is an aerosol or mixture of particulates suspended in a gas (air) that comprises airborne solids, liquid particulates and gases emitted when a material undergoes combustion or pyrolysis.
Smoke particulates vary in size, and depending on particle size, smoke can be visible or invisible to the naked eye.
