Safe Place

According to the National Construction Code ("NCC") 2019, Volume One, a safe place means—

  1. a place of safety within a building—
    1. which is not under threat from a fire; and
    2. from which people must be able to safely disperse after escaping the effects of an emergency to a road or open space; or
  2. a road or open space.
