Non-Essential Door Seals

Non-Essential Door Seals is the seals that are added to fire doors to enhance acoustic separation, reduce air leakage and smoke spread, prevent the ingress of rain, etc., but are not required to enable the fire doors to achieve an FRL.

 

Note: The term 'non-essential door seals' in the context of this Standard relates to fire resistance performance in accordance with AS 1530.4 only.
