National Heavy Vehicle Regulator ("NHVR")

The National Heavy Vehicle Regulator ("NHVR") was established in 2013 as a statutory authority (federal) to ensure safe, efficient and productive heavy vehicle industry serving the needs of participating jurisdictions in Australia. The Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania and Victoria are currently the only participating jurisdictions.

The National Heavy Vehicle Regulator also provides guidance on the selection, mounting and maintenance of portable fire extinguishers in a specialised vehicles, truck, bus, motorhomes, caravan and campervan.
