A Municipal Building Surveyor ("MBS") is a building surveyor who is a representative of local government who oversees range of responsibilities and services provided by local government such as; (1) building & occupancy permits; (2) consent & reports; (3) enforcement & prosecution; (4) general administration & information; and (5) swimming pool safety.
