The term low voltage ("LV") means a voltage exceeding extra-low voltage, but not exceeding 1000 Volt alternating current (a.c.) or 1500 Volt direct current (d.c.) as defined in Australian / New Zealand Standard AS/NZS 3000 — Wiring Rules.
