Hydraulic Fire Safety System

The Environmental Planning and Assessment (Development Certification and Fire Safety) Regulation (NSW) 2021 defines a hydraulic fire safety system to mean any of the following that is installed safety measures in accordance with a requirement of the Act or another Act or law, including an order, a condition of an approval or another authorisation—

  1. a fire hydrant system,
  2. a fire hose reel system,
  3. a fire sprinkler system, including a wall-wetting sprinkler or drencher system,
  4. an automatic fire suppression system of a hydraulic nature.
