Fire Hydrant (Landing) Valve ("FHV")

A fire hydrant also known as a fire hydrant landing valve is an assembly installed on a branch of the water supply that forms part of a fire hydrant system or combined system which incorporates a valve to enable the supply of water to be drawn from the water supply for firefighting. A hydrant is typically used in conjunction with a fire hose or lay-flat fire hose for the delivery of water to a fire.
