Most large buildings are fitted with fire safety systems. These systems include heat detectors, smoke detectors and other sensors to help detect the early presence of fire.
The detection of fire in its early stage is vital to protecting the occupants of a building from the effects of fire while saving the asset from damage.
We need people attracting curious people who are interested to learn how these systems operate tin big buildings o keep people and buildings safe from fire.

With training and experience, you will be responsible for carrying out the routine servicing, maintenance and on site repairs to all types of electrical fire equipment including fire alarm panels, fire detectors, aspirating smoke detection systems, access control systems and EWIS.
After building your experience you may be placed on a rotating call-out roster for emergency breakdowns. You will also draw on your experience to look for defects and improvements to these systems.
This is an opportunity to gain exposure to all facets of fire safety including fire detection and alarm systems, emergency warning systems, access control, automatic fire sprinkler systems, passive fire safety, security and general fire protection. This will allow the right candidate to broaden their knowledge and be a well rounded team player.
- Skills & Experience

There are no specific qualifications required however we look favorably on candidates who who may have experience listed in the selection criteria. If you have studied and ideally completed a degree in mechatronics or electrical engineering this is very desirable (but for the right candidate not necessary).
For most candidates, along the way you will be required as part of your role within our company the Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme ("FPAS") as well as your Registered Cablers License (Restricted) which we can help you with.
- Knowledge and experience using building or industrial automation systems; or
- Knowledge and experience using home automation systems, programing and basic electronics.
- Fluent knowledge of low voltage DC circuitry;
- Strong writing skills and ability to communicate ideas clearly;
- Proven customer management and organisation skills;
- Australian work visa.
