Job Application Process

We love when people express their interest in working for Firewize, and we want you to have the best opportunity to work with us! To make this a reality, you must follow the application process instructions to the letter. These instructions exist to make the application process as fair and efficient as possible.

Thanks for visiting to learn more about careers at Firewize, we are grateful for your time.  We advertise open jobs for a variety of positions every year and receive hundreds of applications. We have developed and refined this recruitment process to attract and then select the very best candidates. This may be you!

For the sake of clarity, we only accept applications that follow the process if you click the "Apply Now" button on any of the open jobs pages. This means if you apply by calling, emailing, or sending us a message via social media, we will send you back to this page to apply and follow our process.

Our recruitment process

Our recruitment process is straightforward but we recommend that you follow the process to the letter!

  1. We advertise career opportunities (jobs) online via the Firewize careers page on our website and with a link back to our careers page via traditional methods such as word-of-mouth, job sites, careers pages, intern programs, Facebook, LinkedIn and Google!
  2. We explain the job that we are looking for, including the values we are seeking in our candidates;
  3. We invite applications online (not by email or any of the messaging platforms). On each advertised job there is an "Apply Now" button which is the only way you can apply.
  4. We review all candidates and shortlist those that we think are the best fit for the role we have advertised.
  5. We contact all applicants and advise them of the details of their application, if they have been unsuccessful ot have proceeded to the next stage.
  6. If you have been shortlisted, we may invite you to either a one-on-one or group interview online typically via Zoom. The interview is the best opportunity to really who us who you are, we really love stellar performers. During the interviews, we typically shortlist 3 candidates.
  7. Shortlisted candidates will be screened further and references will be contacted.
  8. If you have been one of the shortlisted candidates, you may be invited for a second interview with at least one senior member of our team but typically 2 or 3 people will participate.
  9. The successful candidate(s) will be contacted and an employment offer will be made in writing.

Following this process sound like it takes a long time, but it really isn't. It typically takes less than 2 weeks from when the first interview is held (subject to availability of all stakeholders).
